Reservation & Seating Policy
Due to the increased traffic we experience at the restaurant, bookings have become essential to solidify your visit to us over a weekend. To make this process as effort-free as possible for our loyal patrons, please follow these simple guidelines to avoid disappointment:
Making a reservation
Booking a table can be done telephonically by phoning 011 701 2200, in person, or on our website through the Dineplan platform, by visiting www.culinarytable.co.za/booking
Please be sure to give us the following information:
- Name and surname
- Contact number to confirm the booking
- Requested date and time
- Number of guests
- Seating preference (inside or on the patio)
Large Party Reservation Policy
Groups of 13 guests or more are required to pay a deposit to secure their booking. Bookings for groups should be made well in advance to avoid disappointment. Please note that should you wish to accommodate more guests than what was originally booked for, Culinary Table may possibly not be able to assist the additional guests. In the event that extra seating can be allocated, the deposit(s) for the additional guests should be paid before orders are placed.
For groups larger than 8 people, a discretionary 10% service charge will be added to the final bill; for groups larger than 13 people, the service charge will be 12.5%.
In the case that a reservation was made and a deposit payment is required, the booking will be forfeited if no payment is received 24 hours in advance of the booked time.
Payments for reservation deposits will only be accepted via Dineplan – unfortunately no credit card or EFT payments will be accepted.
Late or “no shows”
Should guests not arrive within 30 minutes of the booked time, the booking and the deposit will be forfeited unless otherwise communicated with the restaurant.
Bookings that are not adhered will result in the deposit being forfeited.
